I will deffo be at this one! I can't wait, it will be the first time I have been to something like this. I know I sound sad!

It is only up th eorad for me too but I might camp - more fun!

I wanted to go to this one but I have just realised that the Welsh show is the day before :cry: dont know what to do now :(

how does this one work then? do we have a stand like the AI events or do we drive in and get told where to park with the other cars of the same model etc?

We wouldnt be staying over though. no point :)

i should be at this one, will be heading up in the morning rather than staying over, unless i get an offer of a party over a mates in cov like we normally do with midland cav events :)

if its anything like last year its very relaxed, not like stanford that was all formal..we just turned up and parked together at Coombe Abbey last year, i think it will be similar this yr..FF can set the standard tho ;)

I shall more than likely be camping the night before, as I am going with a mate, even though it is virtually down the road for us (I live in Coventry). But as it is the first time I have EVER done anything like this, it would be nice to meet some of you guys. So how are things done at these meets? Are there particular protocols to follow (apart from making sure you own a decent Italian car!!) ? Do the FF members tend to park in the same area?

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Webbosnova (Hi Ames!), on the day will you make everyone walk through an AMD and then if they set it off will you pat them down? Must use the handheld as well, though! ;-)
 
Not living far from this event i'd suggest you try historic, picturesque Lichfield or Tamworth for hotels, overnight accomodation etc. Not slandering Coventry or Birmingham but not only are these places more scenic & historic but they are also safer places at night to walk around town! and closer in time to get to the event.:slayer:
