i might be coming in daryls car, i said i will drive there and he can drive back, but he says no do it the other way around so i can drink, so i might not get there in one piece

Weve gotta pick up my sister from gatwick that night so would only be at ace for half and hour before having to dash off. plus I wouldnt be able to bring the uno anyway as it will scrape in the arches all the way home with 4 people and big suitcases and Im not having that ANd babzs car is a state at the moment. Was broken into the other day with the CD player, amp, parcel shelf with speakers and a few personal items stolen, lock wrecked and the drivers door is now dented too.. so she doesnt really want to show it off at the moment , it isnt coming to stanford anymore.

Defo going to the one in july though

So is ANYONE going to the next Ace Cafe meet this Thursday? Weather will be perfect, warm and dry, and being nearly mid-summer it will be light until late evening!

Will be a shame if no-one is going.

This Thursday will be the last meet I can make until probably November if all goes to plan. The July meet is the night before I go abroad for a few months, so seeing as I have to be at Gatwick for 6.30am on the Friday after it's not a good idea to go out for the night on Thursday! And I'm going to be SORN'ing the Uno as it won't be in use until I get back. Plus the day of the July meet is my college awards ceremony, so I have to go to that to get my certificate!

I'm due back mid October, but I think I will miss that meet as well unless I'm lucky with my dates. All depends on whether the tour of Europe with my band comes off or not. If it does, I'll effectively be out of the UK for three months from mid July :slayer:

Ok, I'll make it down for this one then! I can't make Stanford as I have a massive exam at college next Monday, plus I still have loads of assignments to finish off.

And as I have exams over the next two weeks that means I can't make the Enfield Italian meet either

Ah well, three weeks time I'll have finished college and can breath a sigh of relief!

Anyway, I'll see you at the Ace tomorrow Jai, and hopefully anyone else who can make it.
