Its not shut as far as i'm aware no.

The facebook page is there still but it was never ever actively posted on and I will concede that its not on googlemaps anymore, there seems to be a place actually in Symonds Yat now called Jo's Diner that i'm pretty sure wasnt there before  So perhaps she has just moved - which in some ways would be a sound business move and others a really bad move. Symonds Yat is teeming with people in summer but the rest of the year its deserted so they'd make far more money for few months of the year but basically nothing, no passing trade at all for the rest of the year. It says shut on TripAdvisor as well.

I'll drive down to investigate in the next few days, and report back ;)

Ultimately, we can all still meet there whether its open or not. Just if it is closed we will have to find somewhere else to drive onto to eat. I think it makes sense we still meet there either way as its so easy to get to no matter where anyone is coming from. If it is indeed shut I'll drive over to where googlemaps says this Jo's diner is and check it out but i doubt there will be much parking if its moved into Symonds Yat. Worst case we can drive onto Clearwell as per tradition and just have cake for breakfast :D

Yep I drove down today and I can confirm its all boarded up and most definitely closed, windows all boarded up.

Fab place but has moved just a five minute drive away.just in the caravan park!"Sterretts Caravan Park
So it is this one here now then? https://goo.gl/maps/1WATMbXLMWitmVc89

I had a quick look at street view and it seems like we would be welcome to park on the grass car park on the right as you enter the park.. Can you confirm that werdna ? ?

I'm referring to this sign here

This is all assuming water has gone down and its open etc - we should defo have a contingency plan as I can confirm the Wye is still pretty high and lots of flooding at the moment - I've not come across any closed roads but that place is right next to the river.
