You're more than welcome to join us :)

I don't think cars are 'locked in' like some shows - but I'll try and check and get back to you!
Thank you - I'll check back on this thread from time to time. You're very welcome to PM me. But I'm not very good on "computery things" so can't guarantee I'll pick it up?
Do you know what the charge might be for entry on the day?

Just to answer a few of the questions raised.

Volunteers - I will be putting out a request for volunteers probably at the beginning of next week. (including some early birds to help setup)

Entry/Exit times - We usually ask people to be on-site before 10am & remain until 3pm.

That said one of the attractions of the event is that people can choose to attend (or not) depending on the weather. We are hoping that can still be the case this year but Hopetoun may have some say. I'll come back once we have a definate answer.

SCOTTISH ITALIAN CAR DAY - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED.

To ensure that it is a successful day for all Italian car owners and for the general public who come to see the cars, we need your support. e.g. marshal cars at the gates and within the field, collect money at the two entrances etc. This may involve only an hour or so of your time. this is a great opportunity to get family members and friends involved.

Please email Keith Philpott at [email protected] to indicate if you are willing to help on the day.

Email sent earlier in the week.

For anyone not sure about volunteering I can highly recommend it. As well as making sure the event runs smoothly it's also an opportunity to get to know people in other clubs and is no hassle at all. I've had a lot of fun doing it the past few years I've been involved

Last call for volunteers. If anybody would like to help please PM me your Name & Email by the end of the week please.

For anyone who's been before you'll know how much work it takes to make the event happen so I'd highly recommend giving an hour of your day.

If you haven't been before - you're going to love this! (y)

Thanks! - even bigger road trip this year too having now moved south again!!
Now, just the small matter of getting a Panda working and legal again....How long have I got?

Not long enough if you're planning to get Grumbleweed back on the road and north from where you now are

It's a nice FF challenge though :chin:

Along with how many pandas can we get up to Scotland for SCID....

It'd be great to see you there (y)
Aye right enough. He's not going to be ready unless I get a massive injection of new found skill and enthusiasm in the next couple of weeks. Good job I've got the backup Stilo on the road and working eh.....
Ooops, seem to have got rid of that and bought another small broken Fiat:eek: just what I needed. Needs an alternator this one plus a small snagging list, sure this'll be ready(y)

probably be right way up too. what is it with the gallery at the minute?
