Well we couldn’t scan it at Brooklands, as the laptops wouldn’t read the ECU.

It threw the warning light just after I stopped for petrol on the way to Brooklands, stalled at the traffic lights, and then was fine after I restarted twice.

Drove from Wycombe to Brooklands fine. All the way back (including another petrol stop) fine. Another 120 miles today fine.

A bit of a mystery as it’s now done probably 250 miles of mixed driving without showing the fault again.

I’m a bit too long in the tooth to expect it to have gone completely, but I’m still hoping it has! If anyone has thoughts, I’d welcome them.

It had been stood a while, so there is a possibility it was sorting itself out. The old battery was knackered too, and it would have been on old fuel. I’m not sure if any of these could cause it?
