What is this event?

Short version: This event is the brainstorm of the FiatForum's event staff following the demise of AutoItalia @ Stanford Hall.

Longer version:
We've listened to all the compliments and complaints about the shows we’ve attended over the years and now we’re ready to offer you something that takes the best of the best and fixes the worst of the worst.

The main element of an Italian car show stays the same, the Italian metal – but we aim to go above and beyond just a “meet and park” type event, we want to make this a fun day out with actual things to see and do (not just the outside of a country house).

So far on the (confirmed) list are:

  • Show ‘n’ Shine Area – with prizes for the dazzliest motors
  • A Music Stage Area, so you’ve got something to listen to (or dance, up to you!)
  • A Trader Area
  • A 33ft Bungee run with competitions throughout the day
  • Plus extras that get added as ticket sales increase ;)

For food and refreshments we've also got you covered - fresh stone baked pizza served out the back of a FIAT 500 (yes, really!) and Italian coffee, ground in front of your very eyes :D

If you liked Stanford, you'll love this - and if you didn't like Stanford, you'll still love this.

And if you loved last year's, you'll super love this ;)

The FF Stand

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Don't be shy!

This is a great opportunity for newbies to meet fellow Fiat owners, socialise and talk about your pride and joys (if you want). Come along, chill out on the stand, have a nosey at other members cars and enjoy a fantastic day out!

No it’s cancelled Brian. :(

The Facebook post was right, and it’s sadly been confirmed by ben

I’m having a stand at the Luton show that day though, so displaced Fiats can go there if I know people have booked. (y)

That is disappointing for the forum!

But having taken the X1/9 to other shows laat year can appreciate some of the larger mixed shows have an appeal.

I still think that there is a market for another Midlands Italian show..but just FIAT is never going to draw crowds.

Needs other marques. Cars..or bikes.

Yeah that was kind of the point of what Forza was aimed at, it was meant to be an all Italian replacement for Stanford Hall, so not just FIATs. Unfortunately, we've gotta start somewhere and until the show is established it's hard to attract the attention of the exotics. On the flipside, it's hard to establish a good show without the support of other groups which means trying to find a date where none of the others have something arranged already, which is surprisingly difficult especially when you want to make sure you get things booked in plenty of time to make sure we can arrange location, traders, etc. Even from my limited involvement, I can see this is not an easy task.

Thinking aloud here...

There is a growing 'breakfast meet'
Just south of .THE MIDLANDS...

That gets 60 to 100 Italian cars regularly.

I for one am not too surprised that somebody who paid @£30 to get into Forza last year were not super keen to do it again this year.

When the monthly meet is just a case of turning up..with the benefit of established buildings.toilets etc.

IF the Forum is to establish a DATE IN THE DIARY.. I think they will have to build it in a progressive manner.

Advertising a topnotch event..and entryfees

But a club meet in a farmers field atmosphere...
Isnt helping .

Not having a moan..just saying what I've seen.

What did the Lancia.Alfa Etc clubs and societys do when Stanford finished..?

I know the forum had the biggest presence at the latter shows.. that just reinforces the need for a broader appeal.
