we met at the "wrong one" in 2015 ( my only visit...)

but got through the gates in @3 mins,

today I (in the older car) gave-up after @ 90 minutes..:bang:

parked outside and walked around a mile to the museum entrance.:(

with the building / development work going on the site.. it somehow seemed worse than the 2015..

I'd have asked for a refund if you couldn't get your car in.

day ticket.. but a LOT of people were just turning around and going elsewhere..
:shakehead:
I'll let those that actually made it "through the turnstiles" to pass comment on todays staff operations..

admittedly last time we had pre-bought an therefore no waiting for payment worries..
but the queue on the A road moved at an average of around 1 car space a minute..:chin:

The ticket is for a person, not a car, so even if you walked in you 'used' your ticket, having your car there is incidental.

I do remember last year, rolling in at 8:30, the show was already pretty full.

This time at 8:15, I was the 5th to park on the banking.

You didn't come and pick up your name badge though!

Well everyone, wow - what a turnout! FIATs as far as the eye could see :)

Just created the gallery now, so before you just post all to facebook and leave it at that, take the time to put them up on here too :)

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves - I had a great day, but I am glad to get home and put my feet up, I can tell you! (y)

Remember, next show - June 11 - FORZA!

Enjoy the bank holiday!

Firstly, lovely to meet more of you again today, thank you all! I was very smug because they thought my "tastefully" modified Fiat 500 was actually an Abarth and they tried to put me in the Abarth paddock! I had to argue the toss a bit to get to park with you guys!

There was no pay/pre-pay system this time, which was a shame, so everyone went in together which did seem to make the intial queue move a bit quicker if nothing else.

Beyond that staff operations not brill, but also numbers this year just seemed immense, and the building work was a royal pain too.

How did the Coleman Shelter do, good/bad ?

Fantastic day guys! (y) the turnout was excellent as usual and your cars were AMAZING. It was also nice to see you all again - new and old it was a pleasure :)

It's was a bit of a drag getting in (not sure why this was) but we all got there in the end. The Coleman pop up was a huge success Zeewulf it went up reasonably well seen as though nobody had ever put one up before and looked the nuts - in fact we're thinking of buying another (y)

So, if you have photos let's see them ben will start a gallery at some point so get uploading! ........ Next show FORZA LIVE (y)

Wonder if we could get one of the walls screen printed with the Fiat Forum logo, so it's a backdrop to the shelter ??

Shame the Brooklands event homepage made no mention of the building works restricting parking areas so badly,
disregarding the Ferrari /Alfa gatherings.. there was precious little in the way
of interesting older kit this year, directly compared to 2015.

as usual the FF stand was far and away the best supported ( and most varied)

I loved the event, it was great to see such a variety of cars and meet new people. There's a couple of people I missed which I'm sorry for but I'll see you all at Forza soon :)

It was also great to park on the banking, nice piece of history there. I haven't been before so had nothing to compare the event to but all in all I think it was thoroughly enjoyable!

Name badge?
Name badges were made up for all the declared Fiat Forum attendees, think I must have been one of the only ones wearing mine, didn't see any others!

I uploaded 143 photos in all so a great variety of cars pictured. Haven't uploaded to the gallery here as they are massive files and a large quantity of them at that, took me ages to upload them to Facebook alone! Here they are, uploaded in an album set on my photography page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/fendysphotos/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1343386699088704

One of my favourite pictures I took on the day, of my Panda with a lovely Lancia in the background on the banking :)
