Show season is back upon us, beginning with Brooklands! Of course, FiatForum will be having a designated stand to show off our cars so if you'd like to be on the stand please add yourself as attending at the top so we know who to expect. Every member of FF is welcome to have their car on the stand we like to have as big a range as possible.

What is this event?

Auto Italia returns to Brooklands in 2015 on Saturday May 2nd. This popular event has become the jewel in the crown for Italian car enthusiasts and in 2011 over 5000 spectators turned out to enjoy some wonderful cars in the spring sunshine. The combination of activities will once again include the demonstration of 50 specially selected cars on the Mercedes-Benz World test track and the opportunity for classic car owners to run up the famous test hill.

As you veteran attendees will know Brooklands is famous for its Hill Run (https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=2996) We shall post the thread for people to put their names down nearer the time when we have more information.

The FF Stand

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Don't be shy!

This is a great opportunity for newbees to meet fellow Fiat owners, socialise and talk about your pride and joys (if you want ). Make it the first of many Official Fiat Forum shows you attend for 2014. Come along, chill out on the stand, have a nosey at other members cars and enjoy a fantastic day out!

Last years photo's can be seen here: https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3593

As per usual, BBQs aren't allowed at Brooklands (boo, hiss!) - but don't worry, we've still got you sorted. There will be a doughnut and coffee morning to kick things off, then a cold lunch buffet, at, well, lunch time :)

We also are happy to announce that our friends at MultiECUScan have provided us with their latest MultiECUScan Multiplexed system, so we'll be offering a basic diagnosis service over at our new Dr. FIAT table :)

So if you''ve had any strange lights popping up on your dash, or your'e getting error codes when you start up, be sure to book in and we'll give it the once over (y)

Morning Meeting Point

To try and give us a chance or organising a decent stand, we'd like to all meet at the local Tesco's at 8am. This will not only give you a chance to pick up any supplies you might need for the day, but also for first timers, help you get in to the event with the minimum of fuss.

The address you need is:

Tesco Extra
BARNES WALLIS DRIVE,
WEYBRIDGE,
SURREY,
KT13 0XF

GoogleMaps: http://goo.gl/maps/hThtm

At around 8:30 - we will then leave in a convoy from there and go directly to the show.

Doing the Hill Run

If you want to do the infamous hill run, please put your name down in the dedicated hill run thread here

We have 6 places and entrants will be chosen by random once all the applicants are in.

Tickets

All details here including advance tickets and paying on the day.

How do I signup?

Well firstly EVERYONE IS WELCOME and indeed the more the merrier :) - there's just a few things we ask of you:

  1. Please click the "Add Me" link at the top of this thread, choosing how many +1s you will bring (if any)
  2. Fill in the Event Registration form found in your user control panel (we use this to make the name badges as well as try and plan a design a bit)

WHEN YOU ARRIVE... and have parked up, please come over to the main tent to collect your name badges. If you haven't clicked "Add Me", or are bringing guests - you will need to register on site - just need a few details and a badge will be made for you on the spot.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO DO THIS - we need this for 2 reasons - 1) So we know who turned up and 2) So we can contact you throughout the day for whatever reason.

The Events Team :)

I shall think about it.
Roughly what sort of money are we talking for a ticket, as it will probably be a grand to get back over the bridge by then. (Why do they only charge to come into wales?)
Is there a polite deadline for confirmation? I know last minute is annoying.

Ill be there again :)
wonder if I will get moaned at for something I didn't do this time..

Every year we have a run in with the fun police (n) it was me two years ago for daring to talk about getting a nice photo of my car on the bank and the year before too for parking three schumachers on the big round concrete circle. The "Marshall" took great delight in telling us that it was a well cover and could collapse at any moment........ I didn't have the heart to tell him it used to have a 20 tonne artillery gun on it during the war - I know this cos I read it in the official brooklands book :D
