I have just applied for our stand at this year's Castle Combe Classic & Retro Action Day. This is on Saturday 28 June 2014.

We have had a stand for many years, and Forum members have attended for the last few - a couple of pics attached.

Tickets are very limited (even more so this year!), so please let me know asap if you are interested - a ticket gets you and your car in for FREE. Extra passengers are charged, as is any track time - you don't have to go on track obviously.

Whatever tickets are available will be first come first served, but I won't be able to confirm until much nearer the event. (y)

Update 20/06/14:

All the tickets have now gone out (y)

I have just received a map - see below.



I think everyone knows what the timings are, but the display area opens at 7am, organisers office at 8am, the track at 9am, and track closes at 5pm.

There is no specific time to arrive for our stand. Most tend to arrive between 9-10am depending on journeys, but there's nothing fixed.

Please remember the rules if you are going on track (they will be on the website somewhere). The most important are that cars need to pass a sound test, driving licences are needed, your arms/legs must be covered, and helmets are compulsary for the proper track sessions (you can hire these). Sadly it often is - a busy weekend, but worth it (y)

I know this may count one or the other out for you though, so no problem if CC bites the dust for you. :hug:

Panda Mo and myself will be bringing one each I'm sure, probably the blue clx again but with more power if I get time, and the newly acquired 850 Sport Coupe. :)

The Buick can have a rest this year although I do love hustling it round the track :devil:

(y) Sounds good to me.

With a couple of tickets to regulars, and the ones above (plus Panda Mo) there will be a couple more places to fill. We had trouble finding people last year for some reason, but I'll probably have the opposite problem this year! :rolleyes:

Well the tickets arrived yesterday. (y)

We have 10 display cars booked, and 10 signed up to it, so something's about to go wrong!!! ;)

I will need to post out to you, as it's not possible to leave tickets at the gate.

Please could you confirm by pm to me that you're definitely going (if not, it's not a problem but I can give the ticket to someone else if you tell me). I also need your proper name & postal address please, plus a mobile contact number for any problems on the day.

MR PANDY & The Black Box - I haven't heard from you & have pm'd now too. Please let me know asap, so that spare tickets can go to someone else if you're not wanting them.

I will be planning to send tickets before I go to Panda Camp on Friday. Please note the phrase "planning to", just in case I don't get chance! ;)

Hi. All the tickets have gone out, sorry, but you're welcome to join us. I don't see a problem getting you parked with us if you can get the car into the display area (I'd just say I'd forgotten the ticket if they had a problem at the gate!). Unless anyone drops out & gives me their ticket back, you'd have to pay at the gate though unfortunately.

If you're definitely going and we could coordinate timings, I'd happily wing it for you at the gate to try to get you into the display area! (y)

Edit: in fact that's a really good plan if we can arrange to get there at the same time. I'll definitely find a way to get you in, just need to pay (unless a ticket gets returned). :idea:

How much is it on the gate? Im attending stanford the next day but need to be there to help set the tent up on saturday about 4pm!
I would like to come!
I can get there any time really :)
