Yes a few of is are stupid enough to be doing Stanford too (busy weekend!), though if you're helping out that's got the prize.

It looks like admission is £15 on the day but the website isn't massively clear. BUT my Mum is going with me and it looks like £10 for a senior - happy to try getting you in and convincing them that the extra to pay for is the senior, so it might only be £10.......

Haha yes! It is a very busy weekend!
Just to clarify, i know its classic and retro but you'll allow a more modern car like mine on the stand?

Its normally £15 to get in but ill bring money anyway!
Ill drop you a PM with my number so we can arrange a time!

Will be good to see some new faces and see charlie again!

Brilliant got the number thanks. Up in Scotland for Panda Camp so brain no longer working - I can't even work out roughly what time for 2 weeks ahead. I'll contact you nearer the day.

Castle Combe have just sent the attached car information form (at least I hope I've found a way to attach the pdf!!! ).

I have emailed it to some of you, but if varesecrazy MR PANDY The Black Box and Sweex could use the attached pdf that would be appreciated. Don't worry about colour either, I won't be!

If anyone has trouble with the attachment just pm me your email address and I'll forward the Castle Combe email to you.

Hi Charlie,

Sorry, I should have been clearer.

I've come down with something nasty following my Scottish trip (either a cold or hayfever), and am struggling to engage brain - shut up at the back, it works sometimes.............

The covering email (which of course you haven't seen! ) asked if people could complete them and display in the cars on the day. Sorry my fault it's fairly common for shows, but of course not everyone is a show veteran.

There will be stuff going on track all day, and people can pay to go out on track. There is usually a pretty slow parade lap too for the clubs, so everyone can go out safely.

For the proper laps, your car has to pass noise tests, and I think you need a driving licence (I mean you need to show it, hopefully everyone actually has one if they are driving to the event.......). I think at least a couple of people are considering going out Vernon was making noises about taking Panto on track, but we'll have to see about that - maybe, but only if it's quiet I think!

Timings are above - as long as you get there, that's fine, no particular time.

I've attempted to polish the car but it's already hissed down on it & undone all the good work!

I'm aiming for around 9.30, but picking up my Mum on the way & therefore plenty of scope for being later....

Well we had a great day despite the weather! In the morning we had monsoon, thunder & lightening, and hail - the afternoon was less predictable! We had hot sun & heavy showers.

I don't know if anyone else took pics - I forgot to take the Dodge (Fiat) Challenger - a bit small maybe.......
