Hey, it just ocurred to me, has anyone ever thought of doing a trip to Italy?

I went to Turin a few years ago with Ryan Air for £4.50p return (+ the £20 in airports and airline taxes  )

But needless to say there was FIAT's everywhere!!!

It's a nice city to visit for a 3 day weekend type thing!! .. Maybe there's a FIAT Car Owners club over there to hook up with?

BTW Would buying bit and bobs in Turin be cheaper then in the UK seeing as it's the home of FIAT?

It is a lot cheaper there for parts. Usually about 35% but in a lot cases for small bits, more than 50% cheaper. It is the same in Spain with them too.

I plan to drive to Turn in the Cento perhaps next summer or the one after. Depends how flush I am.

What does Cento mean?

Maybe we sure all book our cars in for a service in Turin ... money saving excercise and holiday all in one!!! (y)

I'd love to see the looks on some UK FIAT Dealers faces if we did that and got a big bunch together .. the papers would lap it up .. and finally a real benefit to being in the EEC!!

Like our very own Gum Ball Rally!!
