Due to interest from a few Alfa owners i have changed the name of the event to Yorkshire ITALIA Meet =D

Sounds good to me! Just hope my car is working for this meet and i can get insurance and everything seen as it runs out on the 1st of april lol
I couldnt make it to the last one because of the dvla so no doubt something will go wrong this time just so i cant make it lol

Mine seems to get Fiatitis just before i go anywhere important.

in September the day before i flew out to Tunisia the ignition coil went and blew the ECU, got the car back with 3hrs before check in at the airport and the airport been 2hrs drive.

in October on the day i flew to Dublin the gearbox cracked and leaked oil onto the clutch. Managed to get a lift thank fully =D

where abouts is it though id love to come as long as its not too far...and i want a good cruisin session espiecally at night

Please find attacthed to the thread above the location (map and post code) of St George's Field Car park in York City centre.

The proposed route from York - Scarborough - Dalby - York (or home for some) is around 85miles. This route takes in some of the Yorkshire Moors driving roads.

Hmmm sounds interesting.


Hope people will be driving sensibly - saw a Fiesta about 2 seconds from becoming a truck's badge due to it overtaking on the Moors road.

i would obviously ask all who take part to drive sensibly and within there own limits. and to remember that these are public roads.

however its up to individuals to behave how they see appropriate and i will not judge them on that

Agreed, in an environment where there are other cars around i never drive like a loon. And i hope that others that come will also do the same.

In a closed enviroment people can drive however they wish. However seen as we will be on public roads and more than likely in convoy i would ask that everyone takes into account other drivers within the same group. Not all drivers are as confident at overtaking on roads similar to those on the moor.

And the camera sounds like a good idea, Just got a Sony NEX-5 so might bring that out for a play be good to get group shots and drive by photographs
