Hi guys!

I think I have mentioned on here before I enjoy going to hillclimb events and this is the next one I am going to. I think hillclimbing is fab and if you are in to cars and going to tracks, it is a must.

The hill at Harewood is busy all day with many cars on it at one time. The practice runs start in at 9 in the morning and timed runs start immediately after midday.

There is a car park on the hillside and plenty of spectator space so viewing is great over the 1 mile track. Also handy if it pisses it down, you can sit in the car and watch. Entry is £8 including programme.

The classes (plus others) that compete are...
- Modified road cars upto 1400cc (Pug 205s, odd Cento sometimes too are regulars in this class)
- Ginetta cars
- MG Cars (plenty modern and classics like the Midget and MGBGT)
- Modified road cars 1400-2000cc
- Road modified kit cars upto 1700cc
- Road modified kit cars above 1700cc
- Modified road cars 2000cc + (usually plenty of EVOs)
- Formula Fords
- Race cars up to 1100cc
- Race cars 1100-1600cc
- Race cars 1600-2000c
- Race cars 2000cc+ (plenty of very powerful single seaters!!!)

This event is the first round of the national hillclimb championship so there are going to be some s**t hot cars there performing.

I really recommend this as a day out. If you go, I will be there in the Sei (not racing! lol), so say hello or if you are in West Yorkshire and fancy convoying, let me know.
