Ecodrive - what does it monitor?

So far I've resisted temptation to install this function as I know I'm an inefficient driver and I don't need a computer to tell me.

But a question - what does the software actually monitor? Is it just the habits of the driver or does it also check that the engine is performing correctly; eg will it report if the engine is misfiring and not running smoothly?

It is also very difficult to get scores above about 70-ish in normal traffic without driving like a Saint. I does record mileage, fuel economy and tells you how much your fuel cost on a journey is which is useful.

which bravo's have this system installed? Only the diesel eco version?

Fiats with Blue&Me use Ecorive. It's just a software you install and helps you drive the 'ecological way'. I am happy not to have it. Petrol consumption is enough for me.:devil:

I do want to try the ecodrive program, i've downloaded it from the Fiat website.
The tutorial is on the website, in a few steps.

One step (i believe it's the third step) tells you to put the USB stick in the computer so the program wil prepare it four installing the ecodrive-program
on the stick.

I've read all the instructions but I hope someone can clear this;

Do I have to use a emty usb stick to use the ecodrive program or can it be installed/placed on a stick where there is already music/nav-soft on?

you can use a stick that already has other stuff on it, no problem
