Dunno. I just always thought EI was mainly East Anglia :confused:

Doesn't seem very regional if we venture further a field. I don't mind traveling but I consider Peterborough to be the other side of the region to myself and is 106 miles. Loughborough for example is 50% further at over 155 miles.
 
In my eyes Lincolnshire is still in, its all the way up to skeggy and Grimsby because its on the east coast.
I don't wanna let the number of members turning up to meets suffer due to them 'not being allowed to attend'. IMHO, people should be able to be a part of EI whether they are from Lowestoft or Holyhead. Its not a segregation thing... Its all a bit of fun.
My old car had a Yorkshire Italia sticker on it.... UMAD?!
 
Okay, I don't want to upset anyone here -- especially not ysidfa: who has done a sterling job, getting Eastern Italia off the ground... -- but I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling a little, er, disenfranchised, at the moment.... :(

So, if anyone's up to creating a Midlands-based equivalent -- and this is the last time of asking, as far as I'm concerned... -- feel free to sign up here, please. Ta.... (y)
 
no one would "not be allowed to attened", but if your too far out then shouldnt be nominating the meet spot imo, or you will end up with less people from the east east being able to go and be nicking people from other areas even if their groups haven't been set up yet. Grimsby is north east

I'm made to feel very welcomed when I attend a YI meet, and hope anyone attending an EI would regardless of where they live, but I wouldn't nominate a YI meet to happen in Norwich or King's Lynn as that's a completly different regional area.

East Coast typically Tom is King's Lynn down to Clacton On Sea area.
MR PANDY doesn't live in East Anglia but comes to so EI meets and is made to feel welcome (I hope).
 
Alright, I understand where you guys are coming from :) we shall try and make the meets more eastern. I'll be grabbing a list of eastern members and meet locations today and sorting it all out :)

Update on the 2013 meets,
Just compiled a rough list of relevant members and locations and we have (provisionally) 8!
So I think,taking into account Auto Italia and Mitcar, we have enough :)

Here's the list and provisional dates.
