Hi,
My motorcaravan has occasionally over the last couple of years failed to turn over on the first turn of the key. Just a single click, I switch off the ignition and it turns over o.k. Recently the problem has been getting worse and I have to try many times. Any tips on what to look for? By the way, there is loads of life in the battery.

sounds like a faulty solenoid or worn out contacts on the starter motor

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX,

Had The Same Problem Last Year
Turned Out To Be Contacts On Starter Motor
Fitted New And Sealed With Grease All Ok Now
