Hi Guys,
parked the van this evening, ignition and all lights switched off but the brake lights are staying on! I had to take out the fuse to get the lights off. My question is, where is the brake light switch? is it at the pedal or is it a pressure switch on the brake circuit?

I would assume brake pedal...what year/enigne is the van?

Fixed. The switch is at the top of the brake pedal. A pair of wires for another switch had moved and were trapped between the switch and the pedal. This prevented the pedal from fully returning to its rest position and so keeping the switch and the lights on.
