i have a leak around the top of the tank i think but cant find it and clues where to look

are you planning on patching it up or putting a new tank in?

Not sure really, check around the connecting hoses, and any joins.

i looks like it is from above the tank but the pipes look ok i am strugling to find out where it is

My leak was corrosion around the tank filler tube weld area ..... was easier to replace the tank than repair it.
