Due to a slight reversing accident I need to replace the rear nearside lens cover. This is a SIEM product with (amongst other numbers) the number 14127/1 onit. The light cover is a horizontal type that includes the reversing light. Can anyone advise me please as to where I can get one without it costing the earth.

Can dealer not get it for you?

Yes my local motorhome dealer quoted me £70 plus, the first quote I obtained was from the local FIAT dealer and they costed it at £36 plus VAT but had none in stock! Seems a bit steep for a piece of plastic, should have got the mark 1 reversing aid (wife) out and I wouldn't have had this problem.

Well dealer can have it in 48hours so its not too bad.

Thanks, I've now ordered one from my local FIAT garage. Just hope it's the right one. Been let down a few times by some of the specialist motorhome parts traders promising to 'phone back and not doing so, they'll not get my custom in the future. By the way the cost is £36 plus VAT set against the £76 plus VAT wanted by my local M/H dealer!!!!

We get alot of motorhomes & the owners say the same as you,seems to be they sell the van & thats it,anyway good luck
