I have a Ducato Maxi 18 based motorhome. Going off on holiday a few weeks ago one of the wipers was smearing so I thought i'd replace the arms.
The arms are 25.5" long and at the time I could not get any of the correct size. So, I bought some oversized rubbers and replaced only them.
Big mistake!!!
The wipers were 9/10 useless after that, and of course I did not find this out till on the road.
To get me by, I had to bend and twist the arms to get any kind of coverage.
From what I can gather, the standard Ducato items are around 22" long and the ones I have are 25.5" long and would then not appear to be standard.
Can anyone confirm or otherwise that the standard Ducato Maxi wipers are 22".
If this is the case then I will need to try and suss out what vehicle the originals came from.

You might have a uprated wiper system to cope with larger screen.This can be identified by 2 relays in-line with the wiper motor wiring (easy to see right infront of you as you open bonnet) I also think there is a extra/modified bracket on the motor itself.Sorry but dont know where you would obtain such long wiper blades.Fiat dealer might be able to obtain them from the body builders.

Eventuallly got a couple of new blades from a commercial vehicle motor factor. You are right about the uprated relays and wiring / bracket etc.
The new blades are from an Iveco 100 or similar and are 26" in length. Not quite the same and had to drill out the wiper arm to take the centre bolt but a million percent better than before.
