I have now this strange problem with my ducato. If a messure charching om my + jump point it’s 13.9. Of I messure it om bat + it is 12.4. I started my hollydays with full battery. After few hours driving battery it is empty. No battery light. Because I messure 13.9 at jump + point charching seems perfect. What should be the problem. Can i make a quick fix so i make it charching?

Hope to get your input asap. Thanks a lot.

Hi Lex1967

13.9 at the jump point means that the Alternator is OK.

Is this a problem with the vehicle battery, or with a motorhome habitation battery (the second battery that runs all the electrics in the "living" part) ?

Perhaps the CAL4 fuse on the battery fuse board has blown?

Fusies are okay. There is a 50 and a 70 Amp on the + plate vorming from the fusebox left off the steeringwheel.

I now disconnected + and - on battery since yesterday and charged the battery. Now i drove 150km and voltage on battery was from there i started till now minimum 14.6 upto 14.1.

After a short stop, no more than 12.5 12.7 on the battery. 100km further, no full battery anymore. What is the differance between the two red wires coming from te fusebox. Does the 2011 has a special kind of generator(intelligent/reading battery voltage)?

Problem solved. - wire on gearbox was broken. Used a booster cable to fix it during hollidays. Thanks for your support. See you next time.
