Hi, I have a Mwb Fiat Ducato 2012 reg 2.3 130 multijet van which has just cracked a con rod, it has only got 93k on the clock and been regularly serviced including a new timing belt
5 months ago. So all a bit of a mystery. Anyway I need it up and running quickly for work purposes so can anyone recommend a supplier of reconditioned exchange engines.
Thanks.

Where are you based?

I had heard the Ivor Searle name years ago..

But have no modern experience

Hi thanks for the replies. I'm in Rugby, Warwickshire.

I have spoken to Ivor Searle, they don't have my engine in stock, and their method of taking your broken engine and remanufacturing it into a good one is on hold at the moment, with a lead time of about nine weeks according to their sales guy.

I have found a company called Engine-swap.com in Ramsgate who supply recon engines, any one dealt with these guys?
My mechanic is on holiday for a week so it gives me time to do a bit more research, but any more suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks
