I'm new to the group.
We're in the process of purchasing a Ducato, 2007 2.2cc

2nd hand, camper conversion.

Mileage showing on the dash display is strange, as if a digit is missing.

On dash display it shows:
204 64km ?

The seller advised its around 200,000km Mileage. But why is it displayed a digit short?

We're concerned that it's not the actual mileage but perhaps a seperate trip mileage or miles to next service etc.

Any thoughts?

Sorry we don't have a photo of the dash display. But it is displaying this figure in correct area for mileage as per manual.

Its an LED display so most likely the display is damaged. MOT history on DVLA website should give an idea of actual mileage. Plugging in a scanner might also give the information.

Great. Thank you. We've been given MOT (CVRT in Ireland) history, and strangely the last 3 years they have recorded the incorrect mileage, whatever was displayed on dash. So the display must have become faulty around 3 years ago. We are getting a mechanic to plug in next week for week for accurate read. Is a faulty LED display something that's easy to fix / replace or just something to live with. Many thanks

It may depend upon the root cause of the problem, but the company Cartronix comes to mind as a possible repairer.
