Hi again,
I have a 2007 Citroen Jumper/Relay but I ended up here anyway due to the helpful community on this forum.

I bought this van without a spare wheel underneath or anything to attach a spare wheel to. Of course I don't want to go on the road without a spare wheel. However, I have no idea how it supposed to go under the van because the tether for the wheel seems to be removed. I have found multiple parts online ranging from what seems to be a winch to some kind of cage. I'm even fine with attaching the spare wheel to the rear door (it has become a camper van so wouldn't look bad) but I don't know where to start looking for solutions that would fit the x250.
Any part numbers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do not hang it on the rear door , the hinges and doors are very weak and prone to spitting ..!!
If your van is ply lined and has the wheel arches boxed in mount it there , i put mine in a wheel storage bag ,stood it on the wheel arch and secured with a small ratchet strap , it is then easily accessable and clean if you need to change it without grovelling underneath the van to retrieve it [ usually in the rain ] ..!!

Hi nigelvan. The original spare wheel carrier were useless and either seized up or snapped and lost the wheel. Fiat revised the carrier and a recall was issued to fix the problem but not all vans had it done, mine included but you can buy a carrier and fit it yourself or have it fitted.

The video is where the carrier is and how it works and the e-bay screen is the kit. You may want to check it fits your van as their were various options and you may find it cheaper elswhere.

There used to be different Citroen/Fiat carriers and part numbers for 15" and 16" wheels because the centres (PCD) were different. I know that because mine is the heavy version with 16" wheels, and when I took it to the Citroen main dealer for a replacement carrier under the recall, they had ordered the wrong one. They had got the one with a centre to fit the 15" wheels not the 16" wheels. I had to take it away again and go back again when they got the right carrier. So I don't know how this can fit both. Unless its only the 16" wheels with the same centres as the 15" wheels to fit the light chassis. Not the 16" wheels for the heavy chassis like mine.

Thanks for the replies and links. I have no idea what system was originally on my van. Just putting it on the wheel arch doesn't seem to be a bad idea. It takes up some space, but at least it's easy to reach when needed.
Thanks for warning me to not put it on the back door.
