I have searched the threads but not quite found the info I am looking for. I am looking to replace the engine in my ducato 130 mutijet 2014 engine model #F1AF3481D . I am finding it hard to get a direct replacement from the breakers in Ireland(relatively small fleet of Ducatos). If somebody could tell me where to find information on what engines would be a easy alternative replacement and the years in which they were produced. For example is it possible drop in a relay/boxer engine? What model /years of the iveco daily would be suitable? If I fit multijet 150 do I need the ECU reprogrammed? Finally anyone got a suitable engine for sale?

A short update on my search for the engine info. The engine in my van was fitted between 2010 and 2016. The Iveco Daily has a run of engines of the same family. An example of a engine model is F1AFL411B. I believe this is my engine but having called both Iveco and Fiat dealers nether can cross check against the other only confirm that the same engine does have different model numbers. Is there anybody who has experience with swapping these engines and could they please confirm the models are the same. Thanks.
Also thanks for the reply on query about relay/ boxer engines. I imagine the mounts in the van are similar for gearbox/engine but the electronics/ecu's would be a nighmare.
