Hi I have a 2007 2.3 jtd whilst driving the abs light, handbrake light, p light came on and the Speedo and Rev counter went off, no lights indicators or windows would work! I’m suspecting an abs pump, but would be glad of any input. Does anyone know if I buy a 2nd hand pump would it have to be paired with the ecu or is it a simple swap? The van won’t start now, and I’m unable to use the obd port? My battery was reading 12.4v so I’ve tried charging it to see if anything will work again

With that many things going on it suggests an electrical fault common to several items. Check for a blown fuse which supplies multiple circuits, or a bad earth connection which serves several wires. Alternatively you may have a problem with data bus communication.


The ABS pump is an expensive item to swap out unless you are certain it is faulty, so I suggest you eliminate the cheaper possibilities first.
