Hi all!

New Fiat ducato owner and new to the forum.

I have a issue with my central locking on the rear doors and curious to know if anyone has had any similar problems or input that could help.

The rear doors wont lock or open electrically when the doors are shut and when pressing the button on the key there is no noise from the mechanism.. but when the door is fully open and i press the lock/unlock button i can hear the mechanism working.

The van is a 2011 2.3 L4H3.

Hi,

Given the symptoms that you have described, you should consider the possibility of a faulty (damaged?) cable in the rear door loop, or possibly a loose connector, which is being pulled when the door is in the closed position.
