Hi,
Although I have a reversing camera I want to install parking sensors as well
and wonder where which place on bumper is the best for this? are there any markers under the bumper for drilling? I guess removing it is necessary.

The rear bumper is only a plastic sleeve easily removed , i believe that the latest sleeves are premarked/moulded .Can be a little tricky to fit if a towbar is fitted .

don't have a towbar but under that bumper sleeve there is some metal bar since I can stand on this bumper, wonder if this can be a problem.

The metal bar should have the sensor holes already present. I don't know if the fitting locations are marked on the inside of the plastic bumper, but if not some careful measuring from the centre line using the crash bar as a template should work.

There are drawings and useful information under the rear bumper emoval section of eLearn.

Hi offnote

When I got my van it had four retrofit sensors in the back bumper. It never worked well as the sensors could "see" too much of the road behind and gave a lot of false alarms.

I got some little angled wedges from Dolphin to add between the sensors and the bumper, which makes them point upwards very slightly. After that it worked a lot better.

These rings ideally slip over the wiring during installation, bat as I didn't want to take it all apart I carefully cracked each ring, slipped it over the cable and then superglued it back together !
