I have a fiat ducato 2.3 250 facelift 2013 with dpf sensor problems can anyone tell me whereabouts the sensor is located?

I've reset the mil light but it comes back on after a drive so need to replace The sensor

I have taken the dpf pressure sensor reading from ECU scan these a the results I get

With the key on 1mbar

7mbar @ idle

10 mbar @ 2000

particlate filter clogging 37.29%

8.235% oil degradation

I only did a screenshot at key turned on forgot to do the rest don't know how to post them anyway

I couldn’t find the sensor voltage what am I doing wrong?

thanks
Oliver

I would just change the DPF pressure sensor located in the middle of the bulkhead in the centre make sure you put the pipes on the right way round and you will need to reset ECU with multiscan after its been replaced also make sure the 2 small metal pipes from the DPF aren't blocked as this can also cause problems

thanks
is this the sensor? as you can probably tell I'm no mechanic
I have taken some pictures
thanks

No the DPF is the large box before the silencer box under the van, the sensor is slightly behind it, find the part on the internet to see what it looks like

I cannot remember

But I think that one 'Counts Down'

So either oil 92% dirty

Or filter 62% choked

Oil nearing max. Might be your issue..?

Do check ;)

Correct , oil counts down so at 8% your oil is actually 92% degraded

Suggest an oil change may be best and see how it go’s from there, however don’t forget to reset the service / oil change parameters otherwise you’ll be wasting your time

just at update on my van

I've had the DPF pressure sensor changed and an oil change

and i have done a reset with multiecuscan and all seems to be ok apart from the DPF says 80% clogged is this a problem ?

thanks

The 80% clogged is probably just the current state of clogging in the DPF filter, as it nears 100% clogged it should perform a re-gen which will clear the filter and that number should come right down. My van has just done this and went from 96% to 19%.

thanks for that info I will keep an eye on it and see if it performs a re-gen
