Hi all,

Need to do the front pads on the ducato and seems theres two types of shape available with not much guidance on which one should fit? Does anyone have any idea which it is?

Seems theres a more square version or a slightly rounded version...

It's a 2.3 Multijet Ducato, 2010, L2H2. I would go and take the old ones off but my jack is broken and I would rather order the pads as soon as so when I get a new jack I can just get out and replace.

Cheers.

Either order both options and Return the one that doesn't fit or get a Jack pronto and look at which pads you need and order correct pads.

I suggest you have a look because if you need pads you definitely need to check if you need new discs as well.

In my opinion it is a false economy to just fit new pads because new pads on old discs can cause dangerously poor braking until the new pads wear to the uneven shape of used discs. The wearing in period can be many hundreds of miles.

Well you could have a Bosch or Brembo system fitted [ sometimes a mixture on the front and rear axles ..!!] ,and what size are your wheels as that all has to be put into the equation , also if you have a "heavy "version either 335 or 435 they can use a different size of pad and disc setup ...!!!

Usually end up with a small vanload of parts and send back what you dont need , most motor factors wring there hands when you go to get Seval van parts .

Pads, slider kits, created slider and backing paste, probably discs,
There’s loads of varieties and don’t go off what Euro car parts think,

If you can check with fiat parts dept for a price and cheeky ask for the genuine part number
Give that to your local parts shop, they can cross refer

Ultimately take an old pad in,
And disc diameter
