Good evening. My 2009 ducato 2.3 120 multijet has just been in the mechanics for a new throttle body, timing belt and water pump. I picked it up today to find that the power steering warning light is now on and that the steering is now a little heavier. Any ideas why? Thanks in advance

Poor belt tension would be the obvious starting point..

Excuse my ignorance would that be the timing belt that's just been replaced or is there another belt for the power steering?

Generally on the end of the crankshaft..
You have a pair of pulleys inboard is the cambelt
Further out is the 'serpentine'belt ( fan belt..)

This often drives alternator..power steering pump and sometimes aircon..or waterpump

So the drive belt would be removed to change the cambelt.. ;)

I suspect they have upset the belts tension.. so its unable to drive steering pump properly
Does it squeal at all??

Not screeching and not that bad, but definitely heavier than before and warning light now on
