Just collected the new van

Little bit miffed that there’s only a USB input for the radio/nav headunit

Anyone any ideas if the head unit would accept say an earlier build aux input then adding on Multi ECU Scan?

Have you tried playing the music over bluetoth?
I'm guessing its from a phone your trying to play music?

They are not Bluetooth enabled device I’m wanting to listen to, DAB is one device as that’s also not fitted, or a cd, the other is a local radio system that’s aux out only,

Just a shame it seems this has been dropped, will dig behind the dash to see if the wires are still there and try a ore 2020 build part of mates van
Radio has an aux volume not active on the settings, so there’s a 1% chance it may accept older part if wiring is present

No Bluetooth are you sure? Is this u connect unit of the more basic version?

You seem to be happy enough removing and replacing the radio. If you can't add an aux connection easily, how about an FM modulator?

You can get free-standing ones that will transmit on a given frequency via the aerial, but I was thinking more about something like this (that "jumps" the aerial connection for a better quality signal):

(This one has a Fakra aerial connector - I'm not sure what the current Ducato uses, but there are similar solutions with different connectors).

What I’m wanting to listen to are not Bluetooth, the head unit is.

We have managed to pair a Bluetooth transmitter and that works. But adds wires and clutter,

Next job is to check the wires behind the console where the USB port is, if two connectors will borrow a mates 2016 usb & aux port to see if compatible
