General Poor Heater

Hi, I have purchased a 2.8 JTD 55 plate Motorhome, problem is the heater, even when the engine is up to temp and the fan is full on the heater is very poor, is this the norm or is there something that needs looked into.

Had the same on my motorhome, I found if you block the roof vents when on the move the heater works fine I use a cushion wrapped in a plastic bag.
Make sure you remove before using any gas appliances.

The extraction vents on the trailing edge of the driver's and passenger's doors (obvious when the door is open) compromise the heating performance in a coachbuilt motorhome (in which there is generally quite a bit of additional ventilation further back in the body which allows the required amount of through-flow).

I've usually covered these (louvre-appearance) vents with duct tape, and it has made a noticeable difference.i
