Hello had a troll through but can't find the relevant information

dose anyone know the torque setting for the injector clamp down bolts on a 2017 2.3 euro6 having the injectors refurbed

Should be 28Nm but I have greased the threads of mine with alu anti-seize and torqued them to 22Nm. I rechecked them last summer after 12 months and they were still tight, will be checking again annually. The aim is to prevent broken stud syndrome if the injectors ever need to come out!

I suffered the broken bolts in my old Ducato so will be put back
Together with new bolts and some special ceramic grease especially
For injectors and clamp bolts

I have just spoken to the injectors specialist and they are beyond
Refurbing never seen injectors that bad before
Damage caused by operating pressures to high as he asked me if it’s been remapped to an inch of its life
It’s completely standard
Makes you wonder why Fiat are offering injectors at 1/2 price

Picking up new injectors at £168 +vat each this afternoon
