I have a 2019 Ducato Hymercar Motorhome which was dealer stock so no fitted Radio or Reversing Camera but it is DAB pre-wired. I have searched the forum & beyond and have found similar questions but no answers.


So I have removed the Radio Trays and can see a coax cable with a Red & Black unconnected wires and a Yellow Video plug - I guess the Red & Black are power to the camera and Yellow is the video signal back. Removing the high level rear breaklight exposes a White 3 wire connector (Black, Red/Green & White) and a Green coax socket which appears to be 2.5mm although I have no idea how many poles it has.


Alpine do a great looking 9' i902D-DU head unit with clear instructions, Ducato fixings and a YouTube video for fitting the earlier X901D-DU but I am struggling with the camera options.


If I order a Fiat Rear Camera I assume it'll fit/connect and the Alpine should handle the NTSC or PAL signal but obviously the Fiat Camera is going to be pricy.
Hymer offer a camera for 189Euro and hopefully that will connect but I'm trying to clarify from a dealer.


But has anyone else managed to connect to the mystery Green connector and if so how/with what ???
