Ducato 2015 Side Lights and Day Time Running lights failed.I have spent a week trying to find a Fuse! I now understand these light use a canBus. I think it is easy to replace IF I KNEW WHERE IT IS LOCATED! any help please?

Hi, The canbus is not something you can replace, it is the operating system that your van uses. As far as I can see the lights are fed from the EM40 unit but I have no idea where it is. Sorry, but hope this helps.

Position lamps don't have separate traditional fuses. They are controlled directly by the body computer.

You can try resetting the body computer. It sometimes cures odd glitches or failures.

Ensure that the cab doors are unlocked, drivers door window is down, ignition is off and key in your pocket. Close all doors and wait at least 3 minutes.

Open the passenger door (not the drivers door) and disconnect the negative lead from the vehicle battery.

Wait at least a couple of minutes, then reconnect the negative lead to the battery. Do not open any doors. Wait another minute or so then turn on headlamp switch through the driver's window. Replace the key and switch on the ignition. Check the light functions.

If that doesn't work, its going to be down to diagnostic tests. MultiEcuScan is the best software for this. It will tell you if there are any faults logged which could help pinpoint the cause. You can also use it to actuate the switches and lamps directly to indicate in which part of the circuit the problem lies.
