I picked up my new campervan based on the Ducato last week, according to the converters brochure it should have TPMS, if it has I would have thought the TPMS warning light would come on briefly when the ignition is turned on but it doesn't. I rang the Fiat dealer & he used the VIN to check, he said it hasn't been fitted by Fiat, rang the converters & they can't find out if it's fitted or not (they are still investigating) .
So does anybody have it fitted & if so how do you know if its active. The van is brand new (or should be) used to be a way you can find the manufacture date from the VIN but can't remember how.

If it has the factory system the warning light should illuminate briefly during the cluster self check when the ignition is energised.

MultiEcuScan will tell you whether factory TPMS is present and enabled.

That's what I would have thought, I always assumed all relevant warning lights come on at start up to confirm the light & system is active. Any lights then staying on indicate a problem. Waiting for Elddis to get back to me after they have investigated. On an Elddis group somebody thinks the specs are just copied & pasted from other motorhomes they produce & thought that none of the campervans had TPMS. The brochure I have which we used to decide to buy the camper had TPMS listed as a safety item for my camper.
