Hello all,

I have just had my Motorhome auxiliary belt replaced and they found the bolt that goes through the adjustable bracket is missing. Belt is okay currently as held under tension by the alternator's 2 bolts. Apparently the bracket is there but the bolt has been lost previously.

Hence I don't know what the bolt looks like that can pull the alternator belty properly tight. Can anyone help me with part number or correct picture?

1999 Mk2 X230 Ducato Maxi. 2.5 Tdi engine. No Air Con.

if you go to top of page and select e-per then GO then 94 DUCATO then select generator this will take you to break down of parts and shows full diagram anyway it would seem you need either screw and washer assembly part no M8x45------ or screw only M8x60 which I think is either 12m or 14m half threaded bolt. hope that helps. if you find this helpful----please acknowledge.

Hi. Thanks for the advice. But... Top of page and select e-per? Sorry not familiar with site and tend to view on phone where I can't see e-per?

directly below the letter A in FIAT Forum you will find the word ePER that's the key to the parts section.

I now understand the odd square block with two drilled holes my mechanic tried to describe. Waiting in breakers forum to get one now unless anyone can advise better? Part number 11.

Lots of cars use a similar thing, you could probably use the bolt and block from another like this.
