The radio reception in my 2013 MY Ducato motorhome is pretty poor.
I understand that the radio aerial and booster is housed in the nearside mirror.
The signal strength used to be fine. Could the problem be that the signal amplifier (booster) doesn't have a good 12V feed? Is there a fuse that could have blown? The reception is better when the engine not running if that gives any clues.
Thanks in anticipation, Chris

I’ve tried several options from an extra aerial with grounding in the Luton on my first MH.

Then a Blaupunkt powered aerial in the wing.

Then my newest MH had a pillar mount aerial, and then I’ve put in a DAB headset and aerial.

All crap. And so it seems for most MH owners. Perhaps the mass of fibreglass doesnt help.

To be honest I find the vehicle plenty loud enough to drown out any sensible radio listening, wind and tyre noise and shakes, rattles and groans also.

I now tend to use my iPad linked to the radio and turn up the volume.

Cheers. I don't think it's necessarily a motorhome problem.
Don't the unconverted commercial vans have their aerials in the mirror too?
What's bugging me is that I'm sure it used to be better which makes me think it's a booster problem.

As far as I know on std vans the aerial is on the cab roof.
On a 2014 minibus I drive radio reception is ok.

I believe but could be wrong, early (2014 on) dab factory fits, had the aerial in the mirror, but 2016/17 on they reverted to the roof above windscreen, as for Motorhomes (chassis cabs) I don’t have a clue.
My late 2016 dab is roof mounted,
Only the radio itself is diabolically rubbish on reception
