Have just bought a campervan based on a 2015 Ducato 2.3.

When I switch everything off, key out, doors closed I can hear what sounds like a fan running in the centre consul. It is not the engine cooling fan, in fact you can't hear it from outside. I don't think its a ventilation fan as nothing is coming out of the vents. When I lock the doors/arm the alarm using the fob the noise stops. Any ideas what it can be, obviously with a camper unlike a commercial van, I could be inside the van for several hours with the doors unlocked, so could the battery be run down?
