have a lighting issue on the right hand side of my fiat ducato based motor home CI 181 model on a 2002.
when I indicate to turn right there are no issues until I press the brakes at the same time then my brake lights and indicators flash, if I have the lights on then the side running lights also act as indicators but only during the braking progress.


any ideas of were to start for elimination purposes

It sounds like a typical motorhome bad earth scenario, the bonding between motorhome body and the chassis can be suspect quite often. Try running an additional earth from the lamp directly to the chassis as a start.
