Help before i set it alight.
my shed (ducato) was giving trouble for some time, pulled the injectors to replace the seals.
give them a clean up and now no start.
got my self multiecuscan and paid for the full version.
Says i have 8000 psi while cranking is this ok.
new battery fitted turns over really well.
new glow plugs and relay.
can i do any other test with the multiecuscan, how do i tell if my injectors fire up.
:bang:

... was giving trouble for some time,

Need a lot more detail to help diagnose.
You've assumed injectors, and will lead us along that path unless we can understand the base issue.

Describe the 'trouble'.
As much detail, (without losing our attention).
Starting?
Running?
Cold?
Hot?
Smoke? When and what colour. Colour is very important with diesel smoke.
Are the glowplugs working properly. If glowplugs are weak, sometimes energising them twice helps starting.
Turn key until warning lights illuminate. Wait for glowplug light to extinguish.
Immediately turn off.
Then on again.
As soon as glowplug light extinguishes this second time, turn key to start engine. Does this help? (If cold starts are the issue)

Include everything else relevant.

Well after getting chance work and life in general,I pulled the injectors once again.
Replaced them with a set of used ones with 30k on.
It started right up.
Then it had starter trouble.
My fault think I over worked the other.
Replaced battery and starter all good, then other morning no go yet again.
This time bad main earth lead from chassis to engine.
Nearly five years of owning a petrol transit no trouble.
12 months of a ducato I'm broke.
Now if I can just sort the stupid flashing miles on the fash.
Thanks for all the suggestions and all the best for new year.

Bad earth cable will cause all sorts of electrical problems as current flow tries to reverse up alternative circuits if no earth is found.
Likely to be causes of poor starting and starter failure.

Flashing mileage is an indicator of one or more 'modules' not communicating properly, or having been changed and therefore 'alien' to the system. If the 'new' injectors are electronic, that might be a reason. If they are electronic, they should have code numbers on them and these need entering into the engine ECU. MES will do this, so you have the tool for the job.

With MES, do a full DTC scan, see what it says.
It may highlight why the mileage is flashing.

A proxy alignment is usually all that is needed to fix flashing mileage. This tells the ECUs to accept all the various modules, and peace once again reigns in the kingdom. With MES connected, find it in the lower left menu and read the text, give it a go. (Ensure you are connecting to the correct vehicle before doing a proxy.)
