Good day everyone I have recently bought a 2005 Timberland Freedom Motorhome and Iove it powered by the 2.8 turbo engine it has more than enough power but having got it home from the dealers and Inspecting the roof for the first time can see evidence the laquer is peeling away from the paint in several places.
is anyone else experiencing this ?

Not unknown on vans of that age.

There is some supposition that bonding difficulties were caused by the move to water based paints and their application to galvanised body panels. If the peeling is adjacent to where holes have been cut for rooflights etc, it might also depend on how well the converter has protected cut edges before refitting, although there are quite a few commercial vans of similar ages running around with peeling top coats if you look for them. Seems to be worse on white and silver vehicles.
