Newbie here. I just found a NOS gearbox that I have had for many years, problem is I don't remember what models it fits.. I think it is for 2,8 TDI but i'm not sure.


It says 3.2904.05.22 and 9625413210 on the casing.


Would anybody here be able to ID it?

That’s the box for the 230 chassis range 2.8 it’s got the Rev sensor hole top bell housing and the oil fill bung near right side driveshaft seal the 244 doesn’t have fill bung there.

Thanks. Does that mean 1994-2002 2,8?

Can’t remember that back to 1994 but remember it on 98 to 2002
