Got a problem with 2008 2.3 JTD refusing to accelerate. Fiat main dealer says brake switch tells the ECU that the brakes are on, ECU then prevents acceleration. Dipping the clutch allows revs to rise but letting the clutch out causes revs to die??? The problem is intermittent with both a hot and cold engine. Any ideas would be welcome
