Hi there, we have a 2007 120 multijet van that yesterday stopped dead. I discovered a pool of diesel on ground in front of engine and subsequently found a rubber fuel hose (with jubilee clip) had pulled away from a hard plastic fuel tube across the front of the engine. I am the second owner so don't have repair history but this arrangement looks like a patch up? Should this hose have this plastic insert or has this been a "temporary" repair at some stage?

That must have been a former diy repair.

Hi the rubber hose on picture is standard inlet to high pressure pump ,pipe next to it standard return to tank two pipe fitting to right of picture have fittings similar to fuel filter where you push two clips in to release pipes
