Hello everybody,

I 've been following the fiat forum for some time and sadly enough I'll need the help from some members specialist.Luckely that this forum excist.
I have a X290 model 2017 180hp and I have trouble with my D+

I founded the connector on the passengers side where it goes to the motorhome body but I don't get any voltage not positif or negatif.

My dealer is helpfull with his advise and tries to solve the problem but it seems not easy to find a solution.

Can someone give me some advise ,thank you so kindly

D+ is 0 with the engine switched off, approx. 2 volts with the ignition switch on and 12-15 volts when the engine is running. All voltages with reference to chassis ground.

If you don't measure anything at all it means 1 of 3 things: you are testing the wrong connector, your multimeter is defective or the wire running to the D+ terminal on the alternator has been cut.

I assume the alternator and charge light are functioning, otherwise you would have mentioned it.
