Hi,

I've been hunting around for the power/torque curve for the 2011 2.2 100 engine with no luck so far, because if I accelerate past 3000rpm, it seems to lose torque rapidly, as if it just runs out of steam.
Anything under that, 1500 - 2500 RPM, I can really feel the engine pulling, 3000+ RPM and although still accelerating, there is a noticeable drop in power. There are no warning lights or fault codes present at the moment. Anyone seen this before?

I would guess that your torque peaks @2-2,500 rpm, (that's where the 2.3 & 3.0 multijets I believe peak

ECU reduces injected quantity at higher rpms that normal. Transit puma curves here.

Power is torque times rpm, if your engine would not loose torque above 3000 it wouldn't be a MJ-100. You could get more power with different firmware in the ecu, but there will be a penalty (consumption, engine life).

Thanks all, kind of what I was expecting, but good to know for sure.
