Long time since I have been on here but I am hoping that someone can maybe help me this time.

Bought a 2015 2.3 130 Ducato from London back in the last week of October.
Drove it the 600 miles home, during which it seemed sluggish compared to my existing Ducato and a bit thirsty on fuel.
After spending time and money getting the van kitted out I thought I would get it on to the Fiat computer to see if any problems before putting it to work.

Long story, but after paying £470 to have an injector programmed and a DPF regeneration, the van now constantly throws up a DPF error code, EML light, and stalls as soon as it is started, unless you keep the revs above 1000rpm. Once hot it seems better but due to the error code the ECU keeps the power shut down.
After 7 days in the Fiat dealers workshop, and the above £470, I am now in the situation whereby the dealer tells me they have no idea what is wrong with the van.
A main Fiat lad is coming to see the van Wednesday / Thursday to see if he can get it sorted but in the meantime I wondered if any of you good people might have an idea, or seen the problem before. ( The DPF has been off and is not chocked )

Thank you very much.

Nearly forgot. Does this van ( 130 bhp version ) have a Dual Mass Flywheel or a solid one.

Did the dealer check the DPF differential pressure sensor, associated pipework and electrical connections as there have been problems in this area.
Solid flywheel on earlier vans, don't think its changed.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

The story so far is that after main Fiat master tech lad came to the garage to see the vehicle the DPF has been changed ( think garage was afraid to change it because of the cost ) and the van is booked back in for the 23rd of this month to check that the DPF is working and being regenerated.
Don`t think the garage is completely sure if the van is cured or not. Here`s hoping.....................

Definately starts and goes a lot better BUT still sluggish compared to my previous 2007 van, which had no DPF.
Speaking to others it seems that most things now are strangled with emision crap and can hardly breath.

Asked the question and got an answer of -we think !!- that the van has a solid flywheel ( read that the 130 was solid and the 150 was DMF ) so that should make the clutch cheaper to replace.

Speaking of which. When in to check the DPF they are going to make a decision on the state of the gearbox. Can hardly get 2nd when cold and dubious for 3rd. Van will be 2 years old at end of March and at 60000 miles.
Tried to sweeten them by offering to pay for the clutch parts and the 20 minutes labour to fit, if or when the gearbox is out. I know it might be wasted money but a lot cheaper than paying to get the box etc taken out again in the future and it should mean that I can run the van for the planned 5 or 6 years without worrying about a clutch.

Seems a better screwed together van than the last one. Just wish I could get confidence in the bloody thing !!!!!!!

Let us know how you get on at the dealer. I may be able to help and give a little direction if you don't feel like you're getting anywhere with your main dealer.

I would definitely be asking the garage to check the DPF pressure sensor is doing its job correctly.

And your issue with 2nd gear. Is it crunching when cold? or just hard to select.
Does neutral feel ok? When the gear stick is pushed left or right in neutral and left to spring back, Is there any stiffness in the gearstick?
