Hi all
I was driving to work this morning and noticed that my fan switch is only working on no 4. 1 2 and 3 do not operate. The heater is heating ok so I was wondering is it a fault that's common ? Should I be looking at switch or something else. Also the fan does not seem to blow at foot level !!
Thanks
Brett

It would suggest a problem with the resistor pack. It is bypassed on position 4.

Thanks ray
Is this a home job or one for the workshops. I'm not daft as regards doing it but is it in depth, i.e dash out etc or easy enough to get at
Thanks
How's sunny Dorset ?

Easy to get at with your nose at floor level. Look up from under the passenger glove box. you should see the wires going into a socket. The socket unscrews with the resistor pack behind it. A replacement resistor pack has a new socket attached. With a bit of luck the plug has just been dislodged from the socket and needs pushing home. A new one can be got on ebay for about £15.

Dorset is lovely this afternoon.

Thanks ray. Have found the plug, easily accessible, twiddled it about, unplugged and replugged but no joy so will order one, is it anything specific, numbers etc I need to order or just look for my model of van. I come from ensbury park hence the question. Thanks again for your help. (y)

Hi I am looking for a new resistor pack for my 03 Fiat Ducato 2.8JTD motorhome, I have took the old one out and have been looking online for a replacement.
I have found one or two but on the listings it says "without air conditioning", mine does have air conditioning
Mine is brown and has the number PA66-GF30 on it which does not correspond with part numbers in the listings
If the pictured resistors for sale look identical should any of them be ok, do they make them so that if it is the wrong one it wont fit
Thanks
